It is a beautiful day today. Warm enough that the salon heater actually managed to get the cabin temp high enough to shut off and take a rest. Blue sky, sunshine, a little wind. Just a nice little respite before the next round of rainstorms. Just enough to lift my spirits and allow me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Spring is truly on the way! Soon....it will be time for the racing season to start up - my last one, time to say goodbye at work, time to begin in earnest to ready Faith for her up-coming voyage.

Rainy Wednesday
Tough day at work. I have always enjoyed what I do and where I work but big (bad) changes are taking place daily. Now it is hard to drag myself in each morning and by the end of the day I feel like I've been hit by a semi. Less than 4 months to go. Hard to believe but, Wow! Somehow I got old enough to retire! Well...truth telling...I AM leaving a little earlier than allowed. But one must do what one is driven to do. I do not know why I feel the urgency to get going, but it is, nevertheless, there. Palpable. Insistent. Maybe I am closer to the end than I know. Maybe there is some important task I must fulfill. Whatever, it will be revealed in the proper time. Tick, tick, tick...the universe moves on and we go along for the ride.
